Kentucky veterinarians are required to obtain 30 hours of CE every two years. All 30 hours may be obtained online.
Remember, when completing your required CE there are some topic limitations.
At least 20 of your 30 hours must be directly related to the practice of veterinary medicine. And you can't take any more than 10 hours about practice management or other topics that are not directly related to the practice of veterinary medicine.
Kentucky is ahead of the game! Other states have set limits or parameters for online CE but Kentucky allows veterinarians to complete all CE hours online in any mix of live (interactive) or self study (non-interactive) formats.
